I have also completed a course with David Kessler, a leading expert on grief and loss, to become a Certified Grief Educator. I am a licensed social worker with ten years of experience as a real-world professional. I spent seven years as a healing arts practitioner as a Licensed Massage Therapist and Trauma Touch Therapist. As a result, my psychotherapy practice not only includes mental wellness, but also allows for somatic processing. I value the unique journey each person brings to the therapeutic relationship as well as each person’s desired goals. I support and collaborate with people from all walks of life to navigate the challenges brought on by grief and loss, health challenges associated with chronic and/or autoimmune conditions, emotional/physical/medical trauma, anxiety, burnout, living single, and more. I enjoy working with adults of all ages looking to deepen their relationship with themselves and others. I find joy in supporting caregivers, clients living with chronic illness, and in helping clients process grief, trauma, and anxiety. I utilize a person-centered approach with an emphasis on the strengths perspective. I am also EMDR trained and utilize modalities from EMDR frequently in my sessions. My areas of focus include loss and grief, end of life changes, compassion fatigue, mindfulness, trauma through different stages of life, anxiety and depression.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and have over twenty years experience providing counseling to adults of all ages. My goal is to provide support, empathy, and guidance while utilizing a non-judgmental and client-centered approach to therapy.
